Perimeter Fencing
ClearVu fencing is a high-security fencing system made from welded mesh panels with small apertures that prevent climbing and cutting. It is widely used for residential, commercial, and industrial properties where visibility and security are essential, offering a modern, unobtrusive appearance while maintaining strong perimeter protection. 10–15-year guarantee on all material.
Coating options include:
- ZincAlum Galvanized
- Plastic Polymetric Coated
- HQ Veedoc Powder Coated in various colors.
Advantages
- High security: Anti-climb and anti-cut design provide excellent protection without the need for solid walls. The fencing comes standard with an anti-tamper security screw and first of its kind T-Post fixing system which eliminates tampering from outside the fencing perimeter.
- Clear visibility: Open mesh allows full visibility for surveillance, lighting, and cameras.
Disadvantages
- Higher cost than standard fencing: More expensive than basic wire or palisade fencing.
- Limited privacy: Open design does not provide visual or noise privacy.
Palisade Fencing
Palisade fencing is a steel security fencing system made up of vertical pales fixed to horizontal rails, typically finished with pointed or rounded tops for added protection. It is commonly used for industrial, commercial, and high-security applications where strength and perimeter control are required.
Advantages
- Strong security: Robust steel construction acts as a strong physical and visual deterrent.
- Long service life: Galvanised and powder-coated finishes offer excellent resistance to corrosion.
Disadvantages
- Limited privacy: Open design allows full visibility through the fence.
- Higher cost than basic fencing: More expensive than wire or mesh fencing options.
Electrical Fencing
Electric fencing is a security system consisting of electrified wires mounted on insulators and powered by an energiser to deliver a non-lethal electric pulse. It is commonly installed on top of boundary walls or fences to enhance perimeter security and deter intruders.
Advantages
- Highly effective deterrent: Immediate electric shock discourages climbing and tampering.
- Cost-effective security upgrade: Provides high security without the need for solid walling.
Disadvantages
- Requires regular maintenance: System must be monitored to ensure constant power and compliance.
- Dependent on power supply: Performance can be affected by power outages without backup solutions.
Precast Walling
Precast walling consists of reinforced concrete panels manufactured off-site and installed on location to form strong, permanent boundary walls. This construction method ensures consistent quality, durability, and a neat finish, making it a popular choice for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Advantages
- Quick installation: Panels are pre-manufactured and installed rapidly, reducing on-site construction time.
- High durability: Precast concrete is weather-resistant, long-lasting, and requires minimal maintenance.
Disadvantages
- Higher upfront cost: Initial installation costs are generally higher than some traditional walling options.
- Limited flexibility: Once panels are manufactured, design changes or modifications are difficult.
